Having trouble deciding what to do for your engagement session? Here you have 3 tips that will help you create best memories of your life!

1. Think about the location. Choose a location that’s meaningful for you (first date, first kiss, favourite hike…) or something unique with heartbreaking views (mountains, lakes, cliffs…). Don’t be lazy to travel a bit, believe me the time investment it’s worth it.

2. Pick a colour palette and choose your outfits only from this colour palette. Outfits are one of the most important things for a great result. Wear something that represents you and what makes you to feel confident.

3. Trust your photographer and imagine he/she is just a good friend and you are having fun together. The more relaxed you will the less guidance photographer needs to give you. Then pictures turn out in the most natural way.

Azores islands are one of the most unique places I’ve ever visited. Here are my top 10 things you must do if you are on the islands.

1. Whales watching ( this is definitely on the 1’st place)
2. Hike to Miradouro da Boca do Inferno
3. Hike to waterfall Salto do Cabritio
4. Visit Parque Terra Nostra
5. Visit Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural parc and Cascada Dos Caldeirões
6. Go to Ferraria Thermal bath (it’s a natural Swimming pool with thermal water connected with the ocean)
7. Swim at Piscinas Naturais de Mosteiros
8. Visit Miradouro da Vigil das Baleias na Ribeira Grande
9. Visit Thermal Baths Caldeira Velha Environmental Interpretation Centre
10. Go to Restaurante Associação Agrícola de São Miguel and have the best stake ever
This is just my top 10 but there are so many other things to do and see on the islands (surfing, kayaking, mountain biking…). My recommendation is to make a good plan before you arrive and follow it. And yes, always take your swimming pants with you because there will be so many great places where you can have a nice dip.
