Micro wedding at the lake

The last two years have taught quite a bit about prioritising the important things in life, and not postponing the stuff that really matters. Although there were couples who preferred intimate weddings even before the pandemic, this was the first time for me to take pictures at a micro wedding. The bride and groom - Kate and Chay - were looking for a wedding photographer in The Netherlands and got in touch with me to arrange the shoot long before the wedding day. We have gotten along very well since our first talk.

The wedding was at the guesthouse "Inn on a lake", just 20 minutes from Amsterdam - a cozy, private place, perfect for a small event, looking gorgeous for wedding photos. We had a wonderful time together (didn’t even notice when the day flew by), blessed with good weather as well, and accompanied by a cute friend - a very photogenic little doggo.
